Entry into the pool by children, pets, or intruders is detected by the unit's electronic sensor, and sets off a loud, pulsating alarm. Safe, simple, and easy to operate, the 9-volt battery powered alarm snaps onto the top rail of your above ground pool. To store your alarm while using the pool, snap it on the outside of the pool. Poolguard comes with a remote receiver which sounds an alarm inside the home when the unit is activated at the pool. The Poolguard alarm system can be used with a solar blanket on the pool. Poolguard comes with a three year limited warranty. Meets all ASTM safety standards for pool alarms: ASTM-F2208-02

The alarm is completely portable and comes with an in-house remote receiver. The POOL ALARM features are listed below: The POOL ALARM uses one 9-volt battery, and has a audible low battery indicator; battery life is approximately one year. The POOL ALARM automatically resets after 5 minutes of alarming. The POOL ALARM comes with 2 QUICK SNAP POSTS & HARDWARE for mounting the alarm in the pool of for storage while swimming.   The alarm will sound at the pool and in the home at the same time. The REMOTE RECEIVER comes with a 9-volt power supply and can be plugged into any 110-volt outlet in the house. The POOL ALARM has a complete functional test feature every time it is installed in the pool. The POOL ALARM has a WHITE RESET SWITCH so that the alarm cannot be accidentally turned off. The alarm always resets under all conditions. The POOL ALARM sets stationary on the pool's top rail or vertical end cap and is removed while swimming. The range of the REMOTE RECEIVER is up to 200 feet from the POOL ALARM. The horn loudness is 98 dB at 10 feet. The POOL ALARM can be used with a solar blanket.
